The Greenwood Miracle League is back with its opening day on Saturday, April 2 at the Burton Center Miracle League field. Fundraising is a crucial part of the League's daily operations, and while the season may not last all year round, the league works tirelessly throughout the year. This includes web rates, insurance, and replacing equipment and supplies. Your registration fee covers the entire season, and your fundraising efforts help the league grow.
The Carolina Miracle League has been teaching baseball to several generations and recently began offering softball for girls. Over the past 15 years, more than 800 participants have played baseball through the Carolina Miracle League. The Carolina Miracle League provides disabled children with an opportunity to play baseball in its purest form. Each player is assigned “friends” who help them hit the ball and “run” through the bases.
Rates have had to increase due to the rising costs of items necessary for the league's operation. To accommodate these children, a specially equipped field called “Miracle Park” was built in Boiling Springs, South Carolina. If you haven't had a chance to experience this unique sporting event yet, whether as a spectator, volunteer or friend, the Carolina Miracle League invites you to join in. The Carolina Miracle League gives hundreds of disabled children something few dreamed possible: the chance to play baseball.
